A mobile-first application

FOCO is a mobile-first application designed to help young users discover cultural and entertainment events in their city and simplify the ticket purchasing experience.
The project focuses on improving the way users explore events by reducing information fragmentation and simplifying navigation.

Problem
Young users often struggle to discover relevant events because information is fragmented across multiple platforms such as social media, ticketing websites, and promotional pages.
This leads to:
difficulty finding events quickly
inefficient browsing experiences
low conversion from event discovery to ticket purchase
Users
Primary users:
young adults aged 18–30
people interested in music, nightlife, and cultural events
socially active urban users
User goals:
quickly discover events nearby
explore different event categories
purchase tickets with minimal friction
Research
User interviews and behavioral analysis were conducted to understand how young audiences search for events.
Key insights:
most users rely on social media to discover events
event information is often scattered across different platforms
users prefer visual and simplified navigation when browsing events
Design Decisions
A mobile-first layout was implemented using a structured grid system to improve data readability and navigation.
Typography and color hierarchy were optimized to highlight event information and calls to action.
I implemented a 4-column technical grid (414x896px) for mobile optimization. I used Inter typography to improve the readability of complex data and segmented the audience.

What I learned
This project helped me explore how typography and color choices influence brand perception and communication.
